Intelligent Order Routing

Whether a retailer is fulfilling orders from a drop-shipper, internal warehouse, Amazon FBA, or a retail location – SalesWarp’s dynamic order routing rules will push orders through to the most optimal location. Retailers can prioritize where an order is fulfilled based on a set of rules or logic around a location, available stock, or lowest cost to streamline order routing from every channel. This process can be executed on a schedule for single or bulk orders as well as split shipments between locations.

Automated Order Fulfillment

A retailer who fulfills orders from an internal warehouse may use SalesWarp’s Warehouse Management tools to streamline order fulfillment. From an order view page, a warehouse picker can print a pick ticket that includes the product location in the warehouse. After the item is picked, the warehouse picker can use a barcode scanner to scan the item, allowing SalesWarp to identify if the item scanned is the item in the order. The warehouse packer can now print a packing slip and shipping label, and send the order off knowing inventory and order status has been updated. This process can be manually executed as well by typing in the product SKU into the order ship check screen in SalesWarp.

For retailers using a just-in-time (JIT) inventory management system, SalesWarp supports automated purchasing and receiving to get inventory into the warehouse and packed and shipped as fast as possible. Gearhead.com uses SalesWarp to manage their JIT inventory of over 1.5 million products.

For orders with out-of-stock items, SalesWarp provides an Order Bin Manager that allows your warehouse team to add, update, and track items in a bin. A retailer will use a bin system to reserve an item that is part of an incomplete order until all items of that order are in stock and ready to be shipped. A retailer may separate orders per bin or consolidate orders into separate bins based on international orders and domestic orders or other criteria.

Real-time Order Shipping & Tracking

SalesWarp integrates with shipping software to process shipments and update your customers. A shipping file that includes all of the order, customer, and shipping information is sent to the retailer’s preferred shipping software. After a retailer processes and ships the order from their warehouse, a shipping file is pulled back into SalesWarp to update the tracking number for each corresponding order in SalesWarp. This information is then pushed back to where the order originated from (your shopping cart, marketplace…) so that your customer can log in and view the status of their order. This process can be executed in real-time or on a schedule for single or bulk orders as well as multiple order shipments.

For retailers who are using a drop-shipper or Amazon FBA, a shipping file can be automatically pulled or manually imported into SalesWarp to update the tracking number to then be sent back out to the online channel to update the customer.
